What does PeppyCalc calculate?
It mathematically converts a labelled vial amount, final liquid volume and intended amount into millilitres and U-100 syringe-scale units.
Does PeppyCalc recommend a dose?
No. It does not choose or recommend any amount. Users must obtain that information from the product label or a qualified healthcare professional.
Are 100 U-100 units equal to 1 mL?
Yes, on a U-100 syringe scale, 100 marked units correspond to 1 mL of liquid.
Can mg be converted directly to mL?
Not without knowing concentration. Milligrams measure mass and millilitres measure volume, so a mg/mL value is required.
Are syringe units the same as international units?
No. Syringe-scale units describe volume on a U-100 syringe. International units describe biological activity and are product-specific.
Where are saved calculations stored?
They are stored locally in the browser on the current device. PeppyCalc does not require an account.
Does PeppyCalc collect health information?
PeppyCalc does not ask for medical records or an identity. Google Analytics may collect standard usage and device information as described in the privacy policy.
